Description
This is an early 18th-century building, originally two separate properties now numbered 52 and 54 North Bar Without in Beverley. It is constructed of brown brick with a pantile roof, featuring two small dormers and a large chimney. The building has end gables. Each section has one window on each of the two storeys, featuring near-flush frame sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath rendered lintels. The two early 19th-century doorcases are distinguished by wood pilasters, entablatures, rectangular ornamental fanlights and four-panel doors. The building has wood spouting fixed to widely spaced eaves brackets.
