Description

The Market Cross, built in 1811, is a notable structure located on the south side of Main Street in North Frodingham. It has been repaired and reset in the 20th century. The cross features a sandstone pillar that stands on a stepped flagstone plinth. The pillar is square in plan and tapers towards the top, showcasing chamfered arrises and a domed cap.
