Description
Flamborough Railway Station, built in the mid-19th century, is a two-storey structure made of yellow brick with ashlar dressings. It features a brick eaves cornice and plain full-height brick pilasters. The front has one-over-one windows in stone surrounds with a band at the cills, and the right side of the building slightly projects forward. The ground floor includes a four-panel door in a brick surround, with a door in the angle featuring brick voussoirs. There is also a canted bay window with three lights, which has hung sashes with glazing bars. To the right, there is a one-storey extension that has a similar window and a retaining wall with pilasters and a cornice. The elevation facing the road is rendered to resemble stone, featuring one blocked window above one hung sash window with glazing bars. The rear wing, which is part of No 65, is similar in style, although the upper storey has been rebuilt to match the original design.
