Description
The Old Vicarage is a mid-18th century vicarage that has been converted into a private house, with a 19th-century extension. It features colour-washed brick and roofs made of pantiles and Welsh slate. The building has a central entrance, with a low end to the left and an extension to the right. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays, along with a single-storey, two-bay low end and a two-storey, two-bay extension.
The central bay projects forward and includes a round-arched recess that spans two storeys. The entrance features a six-fielded-panel door with the upper four panels glazed, topped by a radial fanlight within a pilastered doorcase. The windows throughout are flush 16-pane sashes with wedge lintels. The gable ends are raised, and there are end stacks. The low end has a board door on the extreme left, with a sash window with glazing bars and a 16-pane sash window to the right, both featuring wedge lintels. The extension has sashes with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows also having wedge lintels. There is an external stack to the right.
