Description

The gatepiers located to the north of Thurstaston Hall were built in 1733 and are made of stone. They feature fluted pilasters on all sides, along with entablatures that have pulvinated friezes and small lion-head finials, which represent the Whitmore crest. The south faces of the gatepiers include simple niches with date panels positioned above them.
