Description

Three houses stand on Stanley Lane, Bebington, Eastham. A date stone reading "ID/IMI/1699" suggests a possible date of construction, though the building may have been re-located at a later time. The houses are built of brick on a stone base, with slate roofing. They are two storeys high, with four bays per house, except for No. 31, which has two bays. The windows are 20th-century casements, and the entrances have 20th-century doors. Gable-end stacks and 20th-century rear wings are present. No. 31 has a straight joint on the right-hand side and a lower pitched roof than the other houses, with windows set in altered openings. No. 35 features stone quoins to the ground floor, a moulded brick string course above the ground floor, and the date stone; it also has a 20th-century flat-roofed brick extension on what might be an older stone base to the right.
