Description

The gate piers at Bold Old Hall were designed by the Italian architect Leoni and built in the early 18th century. They feature a heavy, massive stone style, with one pier's capital being a restoration. The original house was designed in the Palladian style but has since been rebuilt in modern times, incorporating a datestone from 1616.
