Description
Mossborough Hall is a 19th-century house constructed from rock-faced stone and topped with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an irregular plan with five bays. The ground floor features cross windows, while the upper floor has two-light double-chamfered mullioned windows. The entrance is located in the return of the second bay. The house is adorned with three stone-coped gables and several stone stacks. The first gabled bay displays a date stone from a previous house, which reads "RMA 1703" and features a coat of arms. The left return consists of three bays, with the first bay projecting under a gable that also has a coat of arms in a panel. A central porch is topped with an ogival gable that includes a finial, and the entrance has a Tudor arch with a label.
