Description
This is a former warehouse, now converted into flats, located in Wapping. It was built in 1855 and designed by Jesse Hartley. The building is constructed of brick with an iron frame, and it rises to 5 storeys over 40 bays. The segmental-headed windows contain small-paned iron casements. A colonnade of iron columns runs along the dock side, incorporating 5 large segmental arches, the central one now built up. A top cornice and panelled parapet complete the exterior. The southern 8 bays lack a top storey, while the subsequent 8 bays have an altered top storey.
