Description

The K2 telephone call box, located outside Liverpool Town Hall, was built around 1935. It was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and manufactured by Walter McFarlane and Co. of Glasgow. This call box is made of cast iron and features the Type K2 design. It has a door and two side panels with 18-pane windows, along with rectangular panels above. The top is shallow and domed, adorned with a crown on each face.
