Description

Nos. 28 to 38 Upper Hope Place is a terrace of six houses built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two bays. There is a lintel band at the basement level, a sill band at the first floor, and a top frieze with a cornice. The windows feature wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The round-headed entrances are framed by doorcases with panelled pilasters and have four-panel doors.
