Description

The building is a dining hall, originally part of Much Woolton Roman Catholic School. It was constructed in 1849, and is built of stone with a slate roof. The building is two stories high and consists of four bays. The windows have small-paned casements. A central gabled projection features a double staircase leading to a pointed entrance at a mezzanine level. There is a further entrance on the first floor, accessed via a studded door. The gable is topped with a roundel and bell cote. The returns of the projection include lean-to porches at ground floor level. The left-hand return to the street incorporates a first-floor window consisting of three trefoil-headed lights. At the rear, a lateral stack is present.
