Description
The stable and coach house to Newsham House is located to the west of the main house. It was built from brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The structure is two stories high and consists of eight bays, with the central two bays projecting forward beneath a pediment. A cornice runs along the top of the building. The two central bays contain carriage entrances that are topped with segmental relieving arches. The first, second, and sixth bays have windows with wedge lintels and sash windows that include glazing bars. The third bay features an entrance with a wedge lintel. The seventh and eighth bays have been modified to include inserted garage doors. On the first floor, there are glazed pitching eyes; the windows in the second, fourth, fifth, and seventh bays are square with sashes, while the others are circular with flat stone surrounds. Additionally, there is a small building attached between the third and fourth bays.
