Description

Nos. 8 to 14 on St. Bride Street are a row of four houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. The houses are three storeys high with a basement, and each house has two bays. There is a sill band on the first floor and a cornice at the top. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, while the windows directly above the entrances are blind. Nos. 8 and 10 have round-headed entrances with Doric doorcases that include fluted columns and six-panel doors. Nos. 12 and 14 feature flat pilasters and entablatures, also with six-panel doors.
