Description

16 and 18 Oxford Street are two houses built in the 1820s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two bays. There is a sill band at the first floor and a cornice at the top. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The round-headed entrances are framed by Doric doorcases with fluted columns and have six-panel doors. Plain iron railings enclose the basement and steps.
