Description

A group of three houses, built before 1840, stand on the north side of Allerton Road. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. They are two storeys high, with a basement. Numbers 82 and 86 each have two bays, while number 84 has only one. A top cornice runs along the building. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, each with a wedge lintel. There are round-headed entrances, each with a six-panel door. Number 82 features an entry to the right of the main entrance, marked by a gauged brick elliptical arch and a loading bay above. Number 86 has small-paned casement windows, with one ground floor window replaced by a 20th-century window with a plaster lintel. The house has an entrance at each end, with the left-hand entrance set within a porch.
