Description

This outbuilding, formerly known as the stables to Riffle Lodge, is located on Church Road in Woolton and dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a hipped slate roof with stone ridges. At the east end, there are two pointed arched entrances, along with two slab wall enclosures that may have originally served as pigsties. The roof is topped with an octagonal louvre, which has a swept spire and a wind vane.
