Description

City Buildings, located at Nos. 21 and 23 on Old Hall Street, is an office building from the 19th century that was remodeled around 1906 by Frederick G Fraser. The structure is made of stucco and cast iron and stands five storeys tall, featuring two bays, a curved corner bay, and three additional bays facing Fazakerly Street. The building has a rusticated base and paired entrances flanked by granite flat pilasters and an entablature. Between the stucco piers, there are bays of cast iron and glass that extend up to the third floor, complemented by panelled pilasters and entablatures. The top floor is adorned with sashed windows and a cornice that includes a blocking course, while the Fazakerly Street facade is treated in a similar manner.
