Description

The Sunday School, located south of the Church of St Helen, was built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings and features a slate roof. The building is single storey and has one bay on each side of a gabled porch. The windows consist of four pointed lights, complete with mullions and projecting chamfered surrounds. The porch itself has a similar window with two lights and a blank stone shield above it. The door is situated in the right-hand return wall of the porch and has a stone surround with a pointed head. Gable chimneys are also present.
