Description

No. 8 Queen's Terrace is a house dating from 1856 to 1859. It was likely designed by Decimus Burton and certainly built under his supervision, as evidenced by its appearance in a lithograph of 1839. The house is constructed of red brick with a pitched slate roof. It is a two-storey building with three ranges of sash windows. The front door is set within a Tuscan-style frame, complete with a full entablature and blocking course, and features an oblong fanlight above. Cast iron railings with spear finials run along the front of the property.
