Description
Greystones is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with a stone slate roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with three bays. The windows feature stone lintels and sills, with plain reveals. All windows have glazing bars, except for the middle one on the first floor. Most windows have horizontal sliding sashes, except for the left-hand window on the ground floor, which is a 20th-century replacement. Above the door in the middle bay, there is a re-ret plaque inscribed with 'TBM 1692'. The door itself has a plain stone surround. The house has chimneys on the gables, with the right-hand chimney featuring two caps.
