Description

Eaton Banks Farm is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from sandstone rubble, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring gable chimneys. The building has a T-plan layout with two bays and two storeys, along with a lower two-storey rear extension. It is almost symmetrical, with a single-storey gabled porch that is offset to the left of centre, featuring a plain doorway also offset. Each floor has two 2-light windows, with the window to the left of the porch having a square flush mullion. The farmhouse is built gable to the slope on the spring-line of the hillside and is recognized as a good example of its type and date.
