Description

New Bridge is a bridge built in 1826, made of rock-faced sandstone featuring furrowed rustication on the parapet. It has three elliptical arches, with the middle arch being wider than the others, and chamfered voussoirs. The bridge has a solid parapet with rounded coping, which is finished with squat pillars that have rounded caps. A portion of this bridge is located in the parish of Great Mitton.
