9/48 Old Bridge 29.12.52 GV II*

Bridge over the River Hodder, 1562 (V.C.H.). Sandstone ashlar. 3 segmental arches, the middle arch being wider. Cutwaters of triangular section. No parapet. Scheduled Ancient Monument. Part of this bridge is in Great Mitton parish, (q.v.).
