Description
The Old Bridge is a bridge over the River Hodder, built in 1562. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features three segmental arches, with the middle arch being wider than the others. The bridge has cutwaters that are triangular in section and does not have a parapet. It is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and part of the bridge is located in the parish of Great Mitton.
