Description

The door and surround in the garden wall at Downham Hall, located approximately 10 metres south-west of the church tower, date from the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone and timber. On the west side, the architrave features a false keystone that is carved with a shield of arms and the inscription 'RA 1589'. The plank door is adorned with wooden studs and iron strap hinges.
