Description
Hareden Farmhouse is a house dated 1690, as indicated on the door lintel. It is constructed from squared sandstone rubble and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three units. The windows have an outer chamfer and an inner hollow chamfer. The two right-hand units include a continuous drip course that rises above the door. To the left of the door, there are a two-light window and a five-light window, while to the right, there is a four-light window. On the first floor, there are two three-light windows, along with a former two-light window that has had its mullion removed to the left. The door jambs are moulded and continue around a shaped lintel. The left-hand unit is a single bay, with sashed windows on the ground floor and sashed windows with glazing bars on the first floor, all set in plain stone surrounds. The door, located to the left, also has a plain stone surround. There are chimneys on each side of the two right-hand units, with the right-hand chimney featuring weathered tabling and coping. The right-hand gable has a three-light window on the first floor and two blocked chamfered attic windows. The purlins project at the gables.
