Description

This is a house dating from the early 19th century, located adjacent to the south of Downham Mill. The building is constructed of rubble, with the left-hand bay primarily made of limestone and the right-hand bay mainly of sandstone. It features a slate roof and stands two storeys high with two bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds, square mullions, and glazing bars, with the right-hand bay containing windows of two lights. The door, positioned to the left of the right-hand bay, has a plain stone surround and is topped with a hood made of two pitched stone slates. Additionally, there are square stone gutter brackets and chimneys located to the left of the door and on the right-hand gable.
