Description
The Three Millstones is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of slobbered rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with the main facade consisting of two bays, end stacks, and a central door. The windows are tripartite with plain stone surrounds and square mullions, while the central lights are sashed with glazing bars. The door also has a plain stone surround. To the left of the main section is a later bay that includes sashed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. To the right, there is another part of the building featuring a tripartite window on the ground floor, similar to the others, and at the far right, a wide entrance with plain reveals. Inside, the room to the left of the door has a moulded shouldered fireplace with a moulded cornice mantel.
