Description
Rock House, built in the early 19th century, features scored render with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. It has a symmetrical design with two storeys, attics, and three bays. The windows are six-pane sashes with plain stone surrounds, and the attic includes a central timber dormer. The front door is framed by a plain stone surround and a wooden portico supported by two Tuscan columns and two attached columns, topped with a pediment. The house also has a moulded cornice gutter and end stacks.
Adjoining to the west is a barn, which is partly used as an extension to the house and has a plaque indicating it was built in 1707. The barn is constructed of rubble with a slate roof. Its wide entrance features a chamfered design with a segmental head. To the right of the entrance is a six-pane sash window with a plain stone surround. On the far left side of the barn, there is a door with a chamfered surround made of punched stone, and next to it is a window with a plain stone surround. The barn also has shaped stone gutter brackets and a chimney located to the right of the main entrance.
