Description
The Priory is an early 19th-century house constructed from slobbered rubble, featuring a hipped slate roof that overhangs at the eaves. The building has two storeys and is adorned with sash windows that have glazing bars intersecting at their heads. The plain stone surrounds of the windows have pointed heads on the ground floor and hoods on the first floor. A central chimney is topped with three diagonal caps.
On the east wall, there is one bay with a first-floor window similar to those on the south side. Below this window, the ground floor door has a plain stone surround with a pointed head. The north side of the house features an outshut against part of the rear wall, which has a door with a plain stone surround and a pointed head above a flat lintel. The area between the lintel and the arch is filled with glazing bars that intersect.
Adjacent to the outshut on the north side is a wing that has a separate hipped roof. This wing consists of one bay facing east and includes mullioned windows with elliptical heads for the lights, each with hoods. The ground floor window has four lights, while the first-floor window has two lights. A chimney on the north side of the wing has two diagonal caps.
