Description

Nos 13 to 19 Castle Street are buildings with origins in the 18th century. The gable end facing the road is rendered and features rusticated quoins. There is one window with a stone surround, which has hung sashes with glazing bars, positioned above a modern shop front. The building to the right is of the same construction, has a Welsh slate roof, is two storeys high, and includes three windows in stone surrounds along with one late 19th-century rectangular bay to the right. This building also has a late 19th-century and modern shop front. Nos 3 to 19 and the Rose and Crown Hotel form a group, with Nos 3 to 7 being buildings of local interest only.
