Description

The entrance gates to Haslam Park, built in 1910, consist of gatepiers and gates made from ashlar and wrought iron. The outer pair features large rusticated ashlar gatepiers topped with cornices and large ball finials. Inside, there are elaborate wrought-iron open-work standards for double carriage gates, which are flanked by single pedestrian gates. The standards have tall open-work finials, and the gates are adorned with very large delicate cresting.
