Description
Nos. 30, 32, and 34 on Great Avenham Street are three houses built around 1830, with some alterations. They are constructed of red brick and feature a Welsh slate roof with brick ridge stacks. The buildings rise three storeys and have a five-window range, consisting of sashes and casements in their original openings. Each house has painted doorcases with attached columns that support a frieze and a moulded cornice. There are alley doors located to the left of No. 30 and between Nos. 32 and 34. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses are part of what was once a complete set of late Georgian lower-middle class homes in this street, which was laid out in Great Avenham Field and advertised for sale as building plots in 1825.
