Description

The barn, located southeast of Wycoller Hall, is a building that dates back to possibly the 16th century and has been altered over time. It originally served as a barn and later became the coach house for Wycoller Hall, and it is now used as an information centre. The structure is single storey and constructed from stone, topped with a stone slate roof. Notable architectural features include a 2-light square stone mullion window and two original arched entrances that have keystones and voussoirs. Between these entrances is a plain doorway that is topped with a massive oak beam. Inside, the barn showcases an aisled 5-bay cruck construction, with timber posts resting on stone stylobates.
