Description

Laitre Hills Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with an added bay from the 18th century. The building is constructed of stone with quoins and features a slate roof. On the ground floor, there are two 17th-century windows, while the first floor has two late 18th-century windows with glazing bars. Adjacent to the door are mounting stones. The rear of the cottage includes a three-light stone mullion window with a moulded and returned dripstone, a five-light similar window, and a recent door that was inserted in 1983. The first floor has two two-light windows, along with a two-light, a three-light, and another two-light window divided by queen mullions, and a two-light 18th-century window to the right. The cottage has three chimney stacks, with the one on the gable of the original house projecting and stepped.
