Description

This is a Laithe house, likely dating from the 17th century and later altered. It is constructed of rubble with quoins, and some areas have been cement washed. The building has a stone slate roof. The gable end facing the road features three 3-light stone mullion windows with semi-circular headed lights on the first floor. A doorway has a rough-hewn, four-centred arch with chamfered jambs and head. Three 2-light stone mullion windows are also on the first floor. An adjoining barn, now incorporated into the dwelling, probably dates from the 18th century.
