Description

The barn at Lowlands Farm is likely from the 18th century and was modernized in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a roof made of stone and Welsh slate. The north side has a cat entrance with a dressed elliptical head that has been glazed, along with various modern openings. The gabled end wall includes a door on the first floor, while the rear elevation has a door and two small modern windows. There is also a lean-to, and modern stacks and vents have been added to the roof. The interior has not been inspected, and the barn has now been converted into a house. It is included in the register for its group value.
