Description

The remains of the vaccary walls in Wycoller are possibly medieval structures made from large, irregular slabs of stone. These walls were used as field enclosures related to the vaccary system of cattle farming, which had two locations in Wycoller: Nether-Wycoller and Over-Wycoller. Most of the stones have been removed for other purposes, but the largest and most regular sections of the walls extend northeast from Wycoller Hall.
