Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating from 1720, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble with a slate roof, and has quoins formed in render. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within plain stone surrounds; the first-floor window in the left-hand bay is offset to the right. The front door, located between the bays, has a cyma-moulded surround and a lintel inscribed with "JE 1720". There are end chimneys.
