Description
This is a house, likely dating to the mid-19th century, with remnants of a 17th-century structure. It is built of sandstone rubble with a stone slate roof. The main facade is four bays wide, with a clear vertical division between the third and fourth bays. To the left is a taller section constructed of punched sandstone blocks, featuring a two-story canted bay window with two lights separated by a chamfered mullion. These lights are sash windows with glazing bars. The main part of the facade has sash windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds, except for the third bay, which has a single-story canted bay window with two lights at the front. To the left of the first bay on the ground floor is a two-light window with a hollow-chamfered mullion, appearing to be 19th century in style. To the right of the third bay on the first floor is a blocked one-light window with a chamfered reveal, thought to be of 17th-century origin. A single-story porch with a parapet and a Tudor-arched doorway is situated to the left of the left-hand bay on the ground floor. There are chimneys located to the left of the left-hand addition, to the left and right of the main facade, and between the third and fourth bays.
