Description
Websters Farmhouse is a house built in 1681, with some alterations made over time. It is constructed from slobbered rubble and has a slate roof. The building has a two-cell plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The first-floor windows are replacements from the 19th or 20th century, featuring three tall lights with chamfered mullions. On the ground floor to the left, there is a modern garage door. To the right, there is a rebated and chamfered mullioned window that originally had four lights but now retains only one mullion. Further to the right is a one-light fire window. Above the door, a continuous drip course is present, and the door itself has a chamfered surround with a shaped lintel that is inscribed with 'WCK 1681'. There is a chimney located to the left of the door, and the left-hand (west) gable features a projecting stack that ends below the apex of the roof.
