Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on Church Street in Kirkham. The house is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with stone dressings, and has a slate roof with gable stacks. It is three stories high, above a cellar, and has three bays. The entrance doorway is reached by three steps and features a rectangular overlight within a tall, simply moulded architrave, a plain frieze, and a simple cornice. All windows have plain reveals, stone sills, and lintels. The house was built by the Langton family.
