Description

Two houses, 10 and 10A, Fairfield Square, were built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick laid in a header bond pattern and have a slate roof. The houses have a symmetrical three-bay, two-storey elevation, with a later addition to the rear. The front features a central six-panel door with a moulded surround. There are two four-pane sash windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor, all with stone sills and cambered brick arches. A ridge chimney stack rises from the roof. The entrance to number 10A is through a flat-roofed porch located on the right return.
