Description

High Cliff Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from hammer-dressed stone and topped with a 20th-century tile roof. The building features a double-depth central-entrance plan, is two storeys high, and has a double-span roof. It consists of three bays, with a central 20th-century door that has a square-cut surround, a radial fanlight, impost blocks, and a keystone. There are two 16-pane sash windows on each floor, along with a 12-pane sash window located above the door, all featuring square-cut surrounds. The farmhouse has a plain stone eaves cornice and gable stacks. The rear of the building shows evidence of several alterations and additions from later periods.
