Description

Nos 2 and 4 Vale Close are likely from the late 16th century and are two-storey buildings constructed with timber framing featuring square panels and brick nogging, although some sections have been replaced by brick. The gable end facing the road is made of brick and topped with a gable of herringbone framing. The windows are plain casements, and the roof is covered with Welsh slate, complemented by brick stacks. Nos 2 and 4 form a group with the Crown Inn on Didsbury Road.
