Description
This barn, built around 1800, is located immediately west of Shore Hall. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The large barn has opposing cart entries and a later outshut addition at the rear. Notable architectural details include quoins, shaped eaves gutter brackets, and a segmental-arched cart entry. There are three circular lights with quarter blocks, and a later door on the left side. The right gable end features a Venetian window with a keystone, flanked by circular openings, and on the first floor, there is a square-cut door surround with a fanlight above and a gable owl hole. The rear cart entry is now obscured. This barn is included for its group value.
