Description
61 and 63 Kelverlow Street is a house, now divided into two dwellings, dating from around 1750. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and a five-window range arranged in a 1-3-1 pattern, with a central entrance accessed by steps. The central bays are slightly advanced, featuring a doorway set within a Tuscan pedimented architrave adorned with draped urns on the friezes. This doorway includes a traceried fanlight and an eight-panelled door. The flanking windows are all two-pane sashes with finely gauged brick arched heads. The left-hand former window has been converted into the doorway for No. 61. The upper windows are similar in style. A moulded eaves cornice extends to form the moulding of the pediment. The end wall stacks are positioned against curved stone copings at the gables.
