Description
This building is a warehouse, workshop, and shops dating from the early to mid-19th century, with the workshop added in the late 19th century. It has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The structure is made of red brick, featuring some ashlar sandstone dressings, and has slate roof coverings.
The exterior of the warehouse, which is located on the right side, is four storeys high and consists of five bays. It includes tiered double loading doors in the fourth bay, which are set back within a full-height opening beneath a metal lintel that incorporates a hoist beam. The three bays to the left and the single bay to the right have window openings that are topped with rubbed brick heads. The height of these openings decreases with each ascending storey.
