Registrar's office to cemetery. 1879. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, slate roofs with red cockscomb ridge tiles. Irregular plan with rectangular main block, set-back east wing, and tower in angle. Gothic style. Two storeys with one storey wing and 3-stage tower. Main block has 2 gabled dormers and a gabled wing to the right; tower projecting from right-hand return wall has 2-centred arched doorway and low buttress at ground floor, single-light window to 1st floor, and set-back octagonal top stage with clock faces in the cardinal sides and arched lancets in the others, and a short slated spire. Single-storey east wing to rear of this (containing office), with canted bay window to gable end. Forms group with entrance gateway and lodge to east (q.v.).
