Description

The Church of Saint Thomas, built in 1866 by Laurence Booth, is prominently located at the corner of Rochdale Road and Pimhole Road. It is designed in the Early English style and constructed from coursed rubble. The church features a nave, aisles, a chancel, and a north-west tower that has three stages and a waisted spire. The windows are mainly double and triple lancets, which are accented with colonnettes.
